Ghana Football Association represented by General Secretary Prosper Harrison Addo (Esq.) at the Ghana Olympic Committee’s (GOC) 2025-2029 Strategic Plan launch on January 8, 2026, at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Accra. The plan focuses on strengthening sports development in Ghana through athlete-centric approach, improved governance, funding, and partnerships.
GOC President Richard Akpokavie emphasized the committee’s commitment to prioritizing athletes and equipping federations for success. “This plan provides a clear roadmap for advancing sports development in Ghana. We’re building a system where every athlete succeeds, and every federation thrives,” he said.
Prosper Harrison Addo praised the plan, stating it’s a key driver to elevate Ghanaian sports. National Sports Authority’s Board Chairman, Dr. Fred Awaah, commended the GOC for integrating science into sports, highlighting its impact on national development, employment, and economic growth. “Sports drives jobs, boosts the economy, and strengthens the nation,” Dr. Awaah said
