Bishop Boxing Promotions is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated Best of Bukom 2, set to take place on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2026, at the iconic Bukom Arena in Accra, Ghana.

“Join us as we kick off the new year with an electrifying night of boxing, showcasing the incredible talent from the heart of Bukom and beyond. This event promises to be a spectacular display of skill, strength, and sportsmanship, featuring both emerging and established fighters who are ready to make their mark in the ring” said the Promoter Dave Bishop, an American with deep love for Ghana said in an exclusive interview.

He noted that there would be thrilling matchups featuring top local and some international boxers in a vibrant atmosphere filled with energy and excitement as well as entertainment, food stalls, and more to celebrate the spirit of the New Year.

The weighin comes up at the Bukom Boxing Arena on Wednesday January 31 at 9am and would be followed by a Press Conference.

On the bill are exciting popular boxers from Bukom, Newly crowned Commonwealth Youth super flyweight champ, Michael 'Black Spider' Abban goes for the the WBA: World Boxing Association Pan Africa belt against Muhsin Kizota of Tanzania on BestOfBukom 2 presented by Bishop Boxing Promotions at the Bukom Boxing Arena on New Year's Day 2026.

The epic clash between undefeated Africanus Neequaye and Daniel 'High Tension' Quaye for the Ghana Boxing Authority super lightweight title will happen on New Year's Day next year as well as other exciting bouts.

The fight fans cannot miss is Henry Malm versus Isaac Commey as well as Haruna versus Larbie, which is the main bout. Joseph Commey will clash with southpaw Yakubu, and there is a super amateur clash between Mathias Ashitey and Caleb Mensah.
