Wisdom Loh is known as the Father of Ghana's Athletics in the sporting world. He is a medical consultant based in the United States of America.
The distinguished personality is behind the success of the performances of Ghanaian athletes based in the US as he sent all the athletes to America from Ghana with his own money.
For a rising star like Miss Grace Obour, it took Loh over four years to secure her a visa, even at a point in time the amazing athlete nearly quit athletics but Wisdom Loh motivated and advised her not to give up and finally she got the visa and left for the U.S, less than 5 months that she left. Now she is already making Wisdom Loh and Ghana proud.
Mr.Wisdom Loh is the same person who helped Benjamin Azamati to America, not him alone, but new sensation James Dadzie who is the current 200m record holder in Ghana. His time is one of the best this season.
However it seems the media organisations and sports journalists in Ghana do not know a lot about this great son of Ghana.
Most often, the credit of his achievements are given to others during Press interviews.
The wrong people are praised but it is about time the media houses and sports journalists in Ghana acknowledge and praised him.
It is time the Sports Writers association of Ghana (SWAG), the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the National Sports Authority (NSA) and the the President of Ghana, HE. Nana Addo knows and commends the Father of Ghana's Athletics, Wisdom Loh.
Yours Truly wishes to congratulate him where ever he is,

The undisputed lightweight championship was at stake Saturday night as defending champion Devin Haney took on former world titlist Vasyl Lomachenko in a scheduled 12 round ESPN pay per view main event at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Each man had much at stake. The younger Haney, 29-0, wanted to assert himself as one of the best fighters in the contemporary fight game while the older Lomachenko, 17-2, looked to reestablish himself as a once in a lifetime talent.
Loma had a strong first – but it was close. Both men threw and landed some effective shots. The second, like the first, was high intensity and fast paced. Haney landed well early, Loma landed well later. The third was like the previous two rounds. Loma, however, was having better moments – not that Haney wasn’t having moments of his own. The two men went down when they tied up at the end of the fourth – though Haney had the better flashes in the chapter.
Haney’s body work told the story of the fifth. Loma did well in the sixth, but Haney did better. The man’s body work was paying off. The intense seventh saw both fighters trading punches. Loma’s however, may have been a bit more crisp. It was a VERY close – and entertaining – fight. Things remained close in the eighth. Each man was having terrific moments, Loma with head shots, defending champion Haney with impressive body shots.
By the ninth, the conditioning of the two fighters was a marvel. They wouldn’t slow down, these two. Haney, however, performed better in the round. Loma hurt his man in the tenth. Haney held intelligently, but Loma dominated for the first time in the fight. The eleventh round was easy to describe: Haney simply got beaten up by the veteran Loma. Haney, however, was able to rally and pull off the twelfth. It was quite a fight.
The judges ruled thus:
116-112, 115-113, 115-113, all for Haney.
“I’ve got to take my hat off to Loma,” Haney said afterward. “He’s my toughest opponent.”
“I don’t want to talk about this,” said Lomachenko. “All people saw what happened today.”

On Saturday, at #wesleygrammar School (my Alma Mater), many converged to play Armwrestling.
As I sat to watch proceedings to the end in the presence of my leadership, friends and visitors from the diplomatic corps, I concluded that Ghana Armwrestling has come far by Preparation, Perseverance, People and Grace.
I feel elated that the brand we introduced is being packaged to become a super-brand and a sport of choice.
Pullers from the #Ghana Police Service, Ghana Immigration Service, the Clubs, Teams Ashanti, Northern, Central Western and Bono were resolute and promising that gave me verbbering hope.
The expression on the faces of my pullers was dire, desirous and conquering. They love they're chosen sport and I pray the Good Lord and Ghana rewards them soon. Despite the enormous challenges, the tell me "President, the boys are OK".
Ghana will host and win the upcoming Africa Championship, I know because our pullers are awesomely passionate, our coaches are committed and referees, topnotch.
Thanks to Kofikrom Pharmacy, Twellium Industries, Wadada Ventures, Royal Dach, Swaggers Restaurant, 442GH, Blynkxlivegh and my hardworking IOC Team led by Ken Adade, Nii Otoo Larkyne and Shardrack Appiah.
Special mention to the Ghana Armwrestling leadership for the support, the driving force Kofi Addo-Agyekum, Robert Appiah Ameyaw, Godfrey Amarteifio, Husseini Akueteh Addy, Jonathan Lambert, Edwin Amankwah, Jesse Agyepong, Norbert Kwanchie, Sedina and my friends Nana Pataku, Kwame Asem and Hon. Kwabena Kyere.
The Ministers and Ministry of Youth & Sports, the leaders and the National Sports Authority, the leaders and 2023 Africa Games LOC, Ghana Police Service, Ghana Immigration Service and all who continue to support Armwrestling especially my brothers from the media. (I owe you this).
Our next project is the HD+ Kids Armwrestling before the Africa Championship.
Thanks to Ghana.

Ghana international Thomas Partey was deployed as a right-back in Arsenal’s away defeat to Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
Partey's poor form has seen him lose his place in midfield to Jorginho in recent weeks. The Black Stars midfielder made substitute appearance in the club’s last three games in the Premier League.
Returning to starting lineup at the weekend, the former Atletico Madrid star was deployed as a right-back as his outfit suffered a 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest.
Despite playing out of position, the Ghana international was outstanding for the Gunners and earned an impressive rating from, football performance APP, Fotmob. He was rated 7.8 in the encounter.
The defeat suffered by Arsenal effectively dashed their hopes of clinching the title, with Manchester City claiming their third consecutive championship.
The 29-year-old has three goals from 33 English Premier League games this season.
