When searching for your favorite brands or celebrities on Google, you have probably noticed that many have a panel dedicated to their name or brand on the right-hand side of the first results page with a unique subtitle under its name to describe the brand or celebrity’s profession. This is called a Google Knowledge Panel.
Think of it as an overview of a brand, but one that appears at the top of Google search!
Having one could not only benefit you in terms of increasing your discovery on Google, it can also really help to improve your overall brand reputation and perception and getting one is typically the decision of google and its algorithm and when a brand is given one it is because of their authority and credibility over the years.
It was noticed that, Samuel Kwame Boadu, one of the top digital marketers in Ghana’s subtitle was changed from an Entrepreneur to a Digital Marketer, which makes him the first in Ghana to have such subtitle. Digital Marketers like Kwadwo Sheldon, Edward Asare, Zion Felix , Gh Kwaku, etc all use subtitles like Youtubers, Bloggers etc. because its rare and difficult to attain the title “Digital Marketer” beneath your name.
Samuel Kwame Boadu, who has being a Digital Marketing Consultant for brands like Priority Insurance Company Limited, Kofikrom Pharmacy Limited, Ghana National Chamber of Pharmacy, Coco Vanilla Restaurant, Berry Ladies Football Club etc. is one of the most sort after Corporate Digital Marketer in Ghana now and this is a huge milestone for him as a brand and his business, SamBoad Business Group Limited.
In the case of personal or branded panels, Google decides if the person or the brand deserves a knowledge panel. If the person or the brand possesses enough authority, a knowledge panel will show up and for the subtitle, suggestion can be made but the profession “Digital Marketer” is rarely given
Knowledge panels are a type of rich result in the search results pages of Google. They show information about a particular entity or brand you search for. It is like a quick preview of information. Examples of these entities include people, countries, businesses, etc. The panel shows up on the right side of your screen in the desktop search results with the brand’s social media profiles beneath
A knowledge panel is useful if you want to be found for search terms such as your business or brand name, which you typically want to. If Google decides to display your business or brand in this panel, you will pretty much dominate the desktop search results on the screen’s right side.
Google knowledge panels are a fantastic asset to have in search results as they help users discover your business. If you earn a knowledge panel, you get to increase the trustworthiness and authority of your business. It not only helps you generate more business but also gives you an edge over your competitors and with years of experience and authority in the name “SamBoad” or “Samuel Kwame Boadu”, it is no surprise that Samuel Kwame Boadu becomes the first in Ghana to get such subtitle from Google

Ghana Athletics deeply regrets to announce the withdrawal of Ghana's men's 4x100m relay team from the World Athletics Championships, Budapest 2023.
Unfortunately, two of the five athletes on the relay, James Dadzie and Joseph Paul Amoah, sustained injuries during the 200-meter heats today, August 23, 2023, that require urgent medical care.
James pulled his hamstring about 80m into the race, resulting in a grade II tear in the bicep femoris muscle in his left hamstring.
After running a great curve in the 200m, Joseph Amoah felt a pop sensation accompanied by sudden pain in the lateral front side of his right foot. A subsequent x-ray scan revealed a small fracture at the base of his right big toe.
Given World Athletics', and by extension GA's emphasis on SafeGuarding athletes, the health and recovery of James and Joseph are our top priority.
In consultation with the Honorable Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Mustapha Ussif, GA, firmly believes that it's in the best interest and greater good of James and Joseph's careers to discontinue participation in the championships given the circumstances and to shift focus to support options for treatment.
GA would like to thank all stakeholders and ask that they pray and support the athletes for a speedy recovery.
