5,000ghc For VVIP, 1,500ghc For Ringside, 50ghc For Popular Stand

*Dickson (The Beast) Vs Huruna (Thunder) In National Cruiserweight Fray

*Baubali Vs Solier Boxer (The Terminator) In National Super Middleweight Title Showdown

Ayitey Powers Promotions has issued the gate fee for their upcoming two national titles bill on Saturday, November 23 at the Bukom Boxing Arena.

According to the former boxer, Michael Nii Ayitey Okine aka ‘Powers’who campaigned mostly in UK and Australia, the fees would be: 5,000ghc for VVIP, 1,500ghc for Ringside and50ghc for Popular Stand.

Now the President or Spokesman for Ghana boxers, Powers hinted that guests and patrons of the VVIP will be exclusively served drinks and khebab, he noted that boxers deserve respect and should earn good money, hence boxers on his bill are going to be paid well.

He called on boxing fans to come to the arena and behave very well.

On the main bill, former Ghana National Cruiserweight Champion Jacob Dickson aka ‘The Beast’ from the Bronx Gym will face reigning champion Haruna Mohammed of the Wisdom Gym to a battle in the ring for Ghanaians to see who is the real champion in the division.

Both boxers have been bragging in the past weeks and month. The decision time is on November 23.

Dickson 13-1-0 was born and bred at Jamestown, while Haruna aka ‘Thunder’ also born and bred in Accra has five bouts losing one.

The second title on the night is the national super middleweight title belt between Enest Akushey aka Baubali and Elvis Ahorgah popularly called Soldier Boxer. They fought earlier at the same and no winner was declared, after it was detected that the gloves of Baubali was cut. When the coach of Soldier Boxer entered the ring to protest his towel fell on the canvas. So the GBA approved rescheduling the bout.

This is the decision time, and Baubali says if he loses he will quit boxing.

There would be other interesting supporting bouts plus musical and dance performances.

Ben Ankrah and Stephen Cofie are most likely to steal the show, as they have bragged more than the main bouts boxers

The Solo win from Driss El Alouani turned into a shocker by  Morocco "undertaker" Driss El Alouani who silently silenced all the under 23 and Elites to win today's race ahead of Russian Anton Popov and  Belgian Lance De Cabooter.

The Tour du Faso youngest white jersey holder Driss El Alouani has once again demonstrated pure class of endurance in the 116.8km assignment from Ouagadougou to Yako.He came solo to win the race in a grand style.

Majority of the the 59 riders who signed up for stage 8 , developed faults with their bicycles whilst competing in the race and was finding it  difficult to catch up with the peloton comprising mainly of Benin,Russia and the host nation BurkinaFaso.

In the under 23 category Adil El Arbaoui unfortunately had to relinquish his Green Jersey to Anton Popov of Russia recording an average speed of 44.080km/h and a time of 2h 38min 59seconds.

The intermediate sprint jersey went to Mamyr Stash from Russia with  the combativity jersey going to Harouna llboudo.

Mochine El Kouraji still maintains his leader's jersey. He is still determined to protect the yellow jersey at the end of the Tour Du Faso .

Team Ghana is managing the heated competition with Volta region sensation Emmanuel Sesi still improving each day.

Ms. Sarah Lotus Asare, Ghana’s first female match maker and administrator at the Wisdom Boxing Club has tipped Theophilus Allotey aka ‘Theo Lopez’ to become a great boxing star in future.

Sarah who is an agent and manager said Theo Allotey can become a world champion if all plans and schedules for him work positively.

Theophilus Kpakpo Allotey, was a member of the Black Bombers, the national boxing team who tried his best to represent Ghana at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, but could not make it due to the long and hard route to qualify.

He had the chance to win gold for Ghana at the 2022 Commonwealth Games but was dropped from the squad for no tangible reason.

He was at the African Qualifiers where he placed fourth and won a bronze medal. He went to the World Qualifier but things did not world out as planned, however he listened to the advise of his trainer, Coach Dr. Ofori Asare and they had the opportunity of a one-month training tour outside Ghana to sharpen his skills and put him in a right frame of mind.

On his recent return from the British Cayman Islands, he is performing wonderfully.

A few weeks ago he fought Razak Nettey at Sowutuom in Accra, and it was evident that he has improved and in a different class.

The 22-year-old Allotey represented Ghana at the Accra 2023 Africa Games and that tournament opened doors for him to represent at the IBA Special Event in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to fight Patrick Chinyemba, a Zambian opponent he lost to at the African Games. Though he lost, he sees it as part of the learning process.

He turned professional in July and has since fought five successful bouts.

Now fighting as a bantamweight, he is coming coolly and will shock the world as Sarah predicted.

“I came through the amateur ranks where we did a lot of hard work so it makes things a lot easier now that I am in the pro ranks. If you want to be a world champion, you have to fight champions so I am ready for anybody in my division in Ghana and beyond to come forward let's give the fans what they want. I thank my team for all the love and support as well as all the fans who came to support me,” Allotey said in an interview with the media.

Coach Ofori Asare knows the quality of his boxer and believes he can be a world champion.

“He is a top prospect and you can see the level, he comes into the ring to perform no matter the situation. This is the time for him to face all kinds of tests so we are ready for any opponent. That's what will put him in a position to go out there and bring the world title we are looking forward to” the experienced coach said.
