Former IBF Bantamweight Champion, Joseph 'Fresh King Kong' Agbeko has introduced Benedict Baddoo a budding sensation on the local scene as the boxer to watch and the future of the sport in Ghana.

Speaking at the Boxing Ghana Awards last Saturday at the Idrowhyt Events Centre he said Baddoo who is his blood relation is fearless and ready to conquer Ghana and Africa and reach the world.

Baddoo told Yours Truly in a different interview that he wants to become one of the best and most popular boxers from Chorkor.

He noted that Bahubali made great name for Chorkor and he wants to maintain the profile that Chorkor has produced very good boxers for Ghana.

"I want to be the next most popular boxer from Chorkor. there are many boxers in Chorkor but I want to be the Ambassador and biggest star when it comes to boxing" he said

Baddoo who is managed by PKO Boxing said the best of Ghana Boxing is coming.

Joseph Agbeko was among the special guests honoured at the event.

He is a two times world champion and congratulated organisers of the classic Awards event.
