The 4th Edition of the prestigious Boxing Ghana Awards has attracted a few corporate support with Cartel Foundation leading the effort to honour and reward distinguished boxers, coaches, ring officials, media and others in the Ghana Boxing fraternity.

Other sponsors are Idrowhyt Events Centre, Prince De Henry Educational Complex, PKO Foundation, Box Office Promotions and B J Wise Electronics and Electricals.

The Boxing Ghana Awards is recognised by the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA), Ghana Boxing Federation (GBF) and the National Sports Authority (NSA).

This year 30 personalities who have distinguished themselves would be honoured

The categories include Best Professional Boxer. Best Fan. Best Dressed Boxer, Best Amateur Boxer. Best Referee / Judge. Best Ring Announcer, Best Boxing Media Personality and Best Coach.

Lifetime Achievement Awards would be conferred on some personalities who have contributed to Ghana Boxing over the years, like Ring Official Ataa Eddie Pappoe, Coach Kwatelai Quartey. Time Keeper Edward Addo, Coach / Referee Naa Amerley Turkson and the late Freeman Kwame aka Promoterhene.

The year 2025 saw some wonderful boxing organisation by Legacy Rise Sports Promotions and Bishop Boxing Promotions who have been nominated for awards

All roads lead to the Idrowhyt Events Centre at Dansoman on Saturday January 3, 2026.
