Sampson Segbedzi for IBF International Junior Middleweight Title

Ashaiman based Sampson Segbedzi will take on Ibrahim Diallo for the IBF International Junior Middleweight title on December 20, 2025, at the Legon Sports Stadium in Accra, Ghana .

Sampson Segbedzi, a Ghanaian boxer, is looking to claim the vacant title, while Ibrahima Diallo, from Belgium, aims to add another victory to his 12-0-2 record. Segbedzi, with a 10-0-0 record, has recently won the Ghana Boxing Authority Welterweight Title by defeating Habib Kehinde Giwa via unanimous decision. He also holds the UBO Welterweight belt.

The fight is set for 154 lbs and promises to be an exciting clash between two talented boxers.

Segbedzi has just returned from Canada where he has been training for this bout which is the biggest opportunity in his career as a boxer and he cannot let the chance slip by.

He trains at The Gym owned by Nii Gonti Adjor 1aka Nii Adama Addy who is contesting for the Ghana Boxing Federation first vice president position.

Nii Gonti was very instrumental in Joseph Agbeko winning the IBF world Bantamweight Title and he believes Segbedzi has what it takes to become a champion because of his strength, confidence and good corner.

The bout is an under card of the Legacy Rise Sports Promotions and Matchroom bill in Accra.

Other bouts involve Ghanaians Jonathan Tetteh against Freezy Macbones for the African Light Heavyweight title, John Laryea versus Holy Dorgbetor for the IBF Africa Featherweight title and Theophilus Allotey going for the WBO Global super flyweight title against Jayr Raquinel.

National champion Mohammed Abdula of Fit Square gym also fights for the West African Cruiserweight title against Eradajaye.
