The Golden Pedals of Ghana, Greater Accra Regional team and Africa Cycling Network Satellite are the three teams that will represent Ghana at this year's Tour du Ghana.

They will be joined by other cyclists from the USA, Netherlands, Belgium, Burkina Faso, Nigeria, Togo, Benin and Morocco to add up to 72 competitors to vie for honours at the grand event from November 13 to 24.

The Tour which is aimed at promoting tourism in Ghana will cover three regions namely Greater Accra, Volta and Oti in eight stages with 11 jerseys at stake.

This year's Tour which is the historical tenth edition has attracted sponsorship from Dot.Aleliers, Prudential Life Insurance, MTN,  THP,  Asa Plus, Twellium Ghana Ltd,  DHL Global,  Stanbic Bank and the chief of Akwamu Kotoi.

The Tour has been made possible through the efforts of collaboration between the Ghana Cycling Federation and the Ministry of Sports and Recreation, National Sports Authority, National Tourism Authority,  Ghana Olympic Committee and the Black Star Experience Secretariat.

The Ghana Cycling Federation hopes to improve upon their successes over the years, and compete well at future international events especially the 2026 Commonwealth Games and 2028 Olympic Games.
