The city of Accra, the capital of Ghana will witness an exciting boxing tournament on Saturday, October 18 evening from 6pm to 11pm at the Hathiramani Hall, Accra Sports Stadium.
Ghana's team will be selected from the Bukom Boxing Gym, Black Rockets and Black Bombers to face the Drovais Boxing Club from France in the international amateur boxing clash.
According to the Ghana Boxing Federation (GBF) this is not just another fight card — it’s a chance for Ghana’s top prospects to prove themselves on home soil against a respected European opponent. The event promises skill, speed, and raw determination from both sides.
For the local fighters from Bukom Boxing Club, this is more than competition or opportunity - it’s a statement.
The Black Bombers will be looking to make Ghana proud, showcase their grit, and remind the boxing world that Ghana continues to produce warriors with heart. Accra will be rocking when those gloves touch.
There would be an exhibition of juvenile boxing before the main bouts to showcase some of the future stars.
The President of the GBF Mr. Bernard Quartey and his team are working closely with the IMC on Professional Boxing to stage a memorable event and experience.
He said is will serve as training for the team preparing for the Youth Olympic Games and Commonwealth Games.
