The Ghana Judo Association will hold its 2025 Congress and Elections at the Media Centre, Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, June 28.

According to President Kenneth Arthur, they expect a peaceful, free, fair and transparent event.

He noted that all processes leading to the Congress have been met and they hope to organise one of the best Elections.

The positions to be contested include President,  Vice President, Treasurer and Executive Members.

He hinted that there would be reports from the financial and technical committees to see the current state of the Association.

He urged all registered delegates to contribute to make the Congress a success.

Judo is an Olympic sport, and it is the aspiration of practitioners and executives that they qualify to represent Ghana at the Youth Olympic Games in Dakar, Senegal and the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. USA.

"Ghana has very good young judokas based outside and we shall need them to qualify to the major international events" he expressed.
