Gabriel Coffie (11-1, 10 KOs) has left Accra for Canada to face Steven Wilcox (25-4-1, 8 KOs) in a super lightweight 8-rounder at the Rebel Entertainment Complex in Toronto this Sunday, 8 December, 2024 is hopeful of success.

His coach, Randy of the Jamestown Boxing Gym is also very optimistic they will bring home victory.

According to the coach though the opponent may be fighting before his home fans and has much record, they are not bothered.

“We are going to win to also better our record, our target is to get near the world title and this is a stepping stone” he said.

Coffie was accompanied by matchmaker cum promoter, Mubarak Yusif Nanor to Canada where he faces the home boxer,
