Bastie Samir wants to retire as a world champion

Ghana's renowned Light Heavyweight boxer Bastie Samir (20-1-1) who trains out of the Wisdom Boxing Gym still has his eyes on the gold of presenting a world title to Ghanaians before retiring from boxing,

To realise the dream he needs to change himself in the process, “I want to just become a more dominant and better fighter” he said and it is not stopping now.

Despite Bastie Samir's delays in his boxing career and recent loss in the united states of America against Cleotis Pendarvis he is set to  return big for the  UBO Africa Light Heavyweight  title on April 13th 2024 at Decathlon, Nima in Accra against Idowu Rasheed (5-1-1) of Nigeria who is steadily moving on to be a world champion in the near future also

Bastie Samir made a spectacular entrance to his fight against Briamah Kamoko at the Bukom Boxing Arena in the year 2017 with a show stopping performance But looked increasingly lost after that very fight but he now seems to have find his rhythm of making it to the top once again.

There are other entertaining fighters billed on the card to make the night a memorable one,

Clinton Nana Adjei vrs Fioklu Dogbevi (6rnds Cruiser Weight contest)

George Faho vrs Abdul Majid (6rnds welterweight contest)
