After almost five years of repeated protests and treats to boycott narional team assignments, the Ministry of Youth & Sports has paid all outstanding bonuses to members of the Black Queens who won gold medals at the 2015 African Games.

The mangenment, technical staff and management committee also received their bonuses.

The Black Queens were being owed the bonuses of 2015 All Africa Games held in Congo and the 2016 Women's Africa of Nations held in Cameroon.

The Ministry has released a statement to confirm the payment of the Black Queens' owed entitlements.
