Naa Sei Okropong 1 (Madam Gloria Commodore) and other Nii Mensah Kanlow We elders outdoored

Naa Sei Okropong 1 and other newly enstooled elders of the Nii Mensah Kanlow We of the Asere Division in Accra were outdoored and introduced at a colorful ceremony at Bukom last Sunday.

The elders include Nii Shipi Olotei Odum Kwaku 1, Asafoanye Ayeley Blinkan and Asafoanye Ayikai Dade.

They were all delighted during the ceremony and pledged to protect their people.

Naa Okropong, the 68 years old former sports advocate who is also known as Madam Gloria Commodore said the people need to be educated more and transformed.

"We need to inculcate education and discipline in the youth who are the future leaders" the Sei Nye of Nii Mensah Kanlow said.

The President of Women In Sports Association (WISA) said sanitation and cleaning must be part of the duties of the people in making the environment friendly and healthy.

Nii Shipi Olotei Odum Kwaku 1 also noted that development is always on his mind as he wants to support in the development of their lands and people.

He thanked all the young people who came to support him during the ceremony.

He noted that discipline is very important and commended his people for showing love and loyalty.

"We need to live in unity and peace to be able to develop, so my short message to the people is peace and love for development" he stressed.
