One - On - One Foundation Engages Basic Schools Pupils In Sanitation Exercise

One - On - One Foundation, organisers of the Schools Sanitation Inspection Tour have visited Basic Schools in Accra and Kumasi to educate pupils about sanitation and hand washing.

CEO of One - On - One Foundation, Mr. Emmanuel Olla Williams said the kids are very important in the fight against Covid -19, as they should know how to keep themselves clean and tidy always.

The Youth Coordinator of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) urged them to practice healthy living and always take part in sporting activities.

He demonstrated various forms of hand washing and organized a competition on eating and hand washing from which the competitors were awarded tee shirts and exercise books. 

Mr. William Ocansey, director of Communications at One - On - One Foundation also spoke to the school children on micro bacteria and gems that people to not see.

He advised them to keep their hands clean by washing under running water with soap.

The Basic Schools Handwashing Education and Sampling programme have visited over100 schools.  50 schools in Accra and 50 in Kumasi.

Some of the schools they visited were De youngsters Int. School,  Rising Sun Montessori School, Oral Roberts Prep School, Bubiashie Anglican Pri/JHS amongst others in Accra and KNUST, Asem Boys School amongst others in Kumasi

Monaco Pizza Biscuits were shared to the participants after the program.
