After breaking Raphael to lead 2-1 in the second set third game. Yakubu maintained his composure with brilliant volleys to win the second set 6-1

Speaking after the game Yakubu told ghanatennis.org that, "Winning this tournament is amazing. A dream come true. I did get nervous at some point in the match but I managed to forget about how I felt and I had momentum to win the tournament , which was really tough."
