Senior coach of Team Freezy Macbones, CPO1 Bernard Tetteh Nartey has disclosed that he knew only a knockout could earn Freezy Macbones victory in his epic bout against Worldwide on The Showdown bill organised by Legacy Rise Sports Promotions on December 20, 2025 at the University of Ghana, Legon Sports Stadium.

In an exclusive interview on The Big Fight Night on Omashi TV, he said "I knew Tetteh was experienced than Freezy when it comes to boxing and I knew one blow can make a difference. so we were looking for a knockout win because Tetteh has taken the points in the early rounds, and was doing well with his tactics"

"Honestly I didn't see the bite because I was concentrating on how to win by KO" Coach Bernard Tetteh Nartey said.

He expressed that the team learnt many lessons and a rematch would be ideal as some fans were not convinced with the decision. "We want clear win like KO"

Jonathan Tetteh popularly known as Worldwide beat Seth Gyimah aka Freezy Macbones on points to become the New WBA Interconnected Africa Light Heavyweight Champion. The judges scored 78-74 77-75 and 80-73.

The promotion earned an award at the 4th Boxing Ghana Awards.

CPO1 Nartey who is also head trainer of the Ghana Armed Forces Boxing team is a member of the organising and planning committee of the Boxing Ghana Awards who said the Awards event at Idrowhyt Events Centre was nice, excerpt the VIP lounge, Grey Stone Bristo was small for the large number of guests and fans of boxing who wanted to see the action.

He commended his colleagues on the committee, the two MCs and the nominees as well as amazing winners who won by large percentages. He expressed his view that the technical committee would in future develop the awards criteria and ambiance of the venue.

He was on the show with coaches Randy and Nuhu of the Jamestown Boxing Gym who won Best Boxing Gym and Amateur Boxer of the Year in Desmond Pappoe.
