Nii Gonti Adjor 1 fetes delegates, observers and fans after successful GBF Elections

Newly elected Vice President of the Ghana Boxing Federation, Nii Gonti Adjor 1 aka Nii Adama Addy gave delegates at the 2025 Ghana Boxing Federation (GBF) Elections a nice treat to celebrate the sweet victory at The Gym.

This was after the delegates had left the stadium and drove in a convoy through the principal streets of Ga Mashie to display and introduce the newly elected Ghana Boxing Federation President to the public.

Nii Gonti 1 who was the only unopposed candidate at the much anticipated Elections commended the delegates and their supporters for behaving very well at the Elections.

His initial opponent Gordon Frimpong aka Osibor withdrew to support his vision of investing in the juvenile and youth.

According to Nii Gonti, Ghana Boxing needs to be moulded, packaged and presented positively on the international platform in a unique way for more medals and titles.

He noted that Ghana has talented boxers and officials to work on the international platform, but management and organising promotions are other keys.

Nii Gonti who is CEO of The Gym and Omashi Media as well as Chief of Atukpai in Accra acknowledged the importance of technology in sports and the effect of media technology.

He wished the new President well in health and wisdom and promised to offer total support.

Alhaji Dauda Fuseni, a sports administrator with deep affection for Combat Sports was on Saturday 27th December 2025 voted as new President of the Ghana Boxing Federation (GBF).

He polled 85 votes against incumbent Bernard Quartey of the Ghana Immigration Service who got 25 votes.

He has promised to go by the pledge the new board made at the swearing in by the President of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) Lawyers Richard Akpokavie and Mohammed Muniru. the Secretary General.

Also in attendance at the exciting and interesting Election which was held at the Media Centre of the Accra Sports Stadium were Bawa Fuseini, Deputy Secretary General of the GOC and Nana Adu Mankatah, President of Sports For All and GOC executive board member.
