Afrobreak Breaking Championship (Ghana Selection) At Nima, Kawukudi on Saturday, September 27

The annual street culture event in Ghana which is held every September is here again. This is the fourth edition and it promises to be exciting, improved, interesting and explosive because the athletes have developed, learnt new skills and coming to perform something unimaginable.

The 2015 edition of Afrobreak National (Ghana) Championship is on Saturday 27 September 2025 at the Nima Kawukudi Culture Basketball Court, Behind former Decathlon Shop.

The competitions will involve 1 vs 1 Breaking (Bboy & Bgirl), 1 vs 1 All style, 1 vs 1 Kids (Breaking) and Power moves exhibition. Moderate fees would be charged at the gates. The Ghanaian founder of AfroBreak Championships, Nana Tuffour Okai aka Bboy Lyrix said dance sports fans should expect something new and big because the sport has moved on to different levels and the athletes have learnt a lot,

“It is a pride and honour to represent your country, so all the contestants want to make names and history for themselves and the nation, I wish them well and may the best and most prepared win, good luck to everyone” he expressed.
