Ghana Baseball and Softball Federation has officially launched the first National 2025 Ghana Baseball League on Saturday at the Koshien Baseball Field - Labone SHS Park in Accra.

The exciting launch attracted the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) President Richard Akpokavie Esq. and other Board members.

Former President of Ghana Baseball and now President of African Baseball Mr. Albert K. Frimpong was also in attendance as well as the media.

Four clubs are taking part in the competition. They are Labone Dodgers. Tema Giants. Shai Osu Doku Hawks.

Mr. Ernest Danso, President of Ghana Baseball and Softball Federation commended the players and clubs and hoped for an interesting epic 36 games competition.

He noted that Baseball is not popular in Ghana like the USA and Japan, however he believes the love will come judging from the attendance and participation of young boys and girls.

He thanked the sponsors supporting the League and Labone SHS for the site which has been the base for Baseball in Ghana and the students who have the desire to play.

The League will be played continuously every weekend till the end of the season to determine the winner.
