Mr. Rabbon Nii Dodoo, former first Vice President of the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) who resigned due to indifferences with Mr. Abraham Neequaye has been tipped to become the next President.
A survey conducted has proved that experienced and respected Mr. Rabbon Dodoo is very popular among the candidates who are contesting for the presidency and he has the experience as a former boxer, manager and administrator. He served during the time of Lawyer Peter Zwennes and will also bring his new ideas on board.
He also has links as a businessman and well connected to the boxing fraternity.
Meanwhile, the National Sports Authority (NSA) and the stakeholders are in negotiations on the way forward concerning the roadmap to the next Congress and Elections.
Ivan Bruce Cudjoe of Cabic Promotions is the other candidate seeking to be elected President of the GBA.
Boxing fans, enthusiasts and the media are appealing to the Ministry of Sports & Recreation and the NSA to fast track processes to ensure smooth management and administration of Ghana Boxing.
