The New Patroitic Party (NPP) Aspiring Member of Parliament for Ablekuma South, Hon. Benard Nii Anyaa Brown on Saturday organized a football gala for the youth of Korle Bu, Korle Gonno, Chorkor and Mamprobi.

20 selected community sides competed in two separated events that went on simultaneously at the Attoh Quarshie park at Chorkor and Okpotsu park at Korle Gonno.

The two best teams will clash in a special programme to commission a new astro turf pitch constructed by Hon. Jerry Ahmed’s Coastal Development Authority (CODA) for the community.

Napoli and Happy Mama will represent Korle Gonno at the finals and they have promised their fans victory.

Ismaila Mills, skipper of the Happy Mama squad said the constituency abound in sporting talents, and appealed to the authorities in the area to support the youth with employment and other opportunities that will make them cheerful.

Mr. Tettey Amankwah aka Mr. Tee, one of the party organisers urged the youth to vote wisely in the general elections as Nana Akuffo Addo has the youth at his heart.

Mr. Lamptey, aka ‘Taller’ advised the youth not to involve themselves in violent acts, but try their best to live peaceful with their political opponents as the elections is not a do and die affair, but just to find competent leadership for the nation.
