Kotoko sign six new players ahead of ahead league season

Ghana Premier League powerhouse, Asante Kotoko have officially signed six new players ahead of the upcoming league season.

The twenty-four times Ghana Premier champions will be representing Ghana in the upcoming CAF Champions League as well as compete strongly in the domestic league.

As part of bolstering their squad, coach Maxwell Konadu’s side have signed six players to add up to their already star-studded team and reportedly in the market to make some new additions.

Black Stars goalkeeper, Razak Abalora has joined the Kumasi-based club ahead of the new league season.

He has joined Kotoko on a three-year deal as a free agent after leaving Tanzania outfit Azam FC.

Abalora has joined the goalkeeping department of the club that boast of Felix Annan, Kwame Baah and Danlad Ibrahim who are national team materials.

Former Atalanta BC left-back Patrick Asmah has also joined the Porcupine Warriors after passing a mandatory medicals.

The former Ghana youth defender has been signed to give competition to Imoro Ibrahim who was incredible for Kotoko in the truncated 2019/20 league season.

Also joining the nine times Ghana FA Cup champions is former AshantiGold Sporting Club duo of Mubarik Yusif and Latif Anabila.

The duo have joined Asante Kotoko on a three-year deal as free agents after their contracts with AshantiGold Sporting Club expired after the 2019/20 season was truncated.

Midfield dynamo; Emmanuel Keyekeh has also joined Asante Kotoko on a three-year deal from fellow premiership side Karela United after a successful medicals.

The highly-rated midfielder who has carved a niche for himself at Karela United has been touted to succeed at Asante Kotoko as the new league season beckons.

Evans Adomako, formerly of Phar Rangers FC who has joined Asante Kotoko to give more strength to the attacking department of the Ghana Premier League giant.

It is reported that in the next coming days Asante Kotoko will sign new players to the team with a highly-rated Ugandan striker also joining.

Asante Kotoko are currently in Koforidua in the Eastern Region preparing feverishly for the upcoming league season.
