They thanked the chiefs from Ghana and Nigeria as well as coaches, promoters, match makers and referees plus current and old boxers.

The GBA expressed gratitude to the former president HE J.J. Rawlings, HE Ray Quarcoo, Yoofi Boham, Prof, Azumah Nelson and other personalities.

Mohammed Amin Lamptey who was MC of the funeral service was also commended as well as former boxers based in the USA.
