"My name is Nancy Ewusie. I am a mental health advocate trained by the South African depression and anxiety Group in South Africa. I hold a Bachelor's degree in education, a certificate in African centered black Psychology, and a certificate in mental health first aid.
I am the founder and leader of Candle Night Global, a nonprofit mental health advocacy organization based in Ghana that focuses on providing mental health advocacy and support to the people of Ghana.
I am the author of the book, Dosu, the rainbow child. It is a book that uses the true life story of a young Ghanaian girl as case study to throw light on how our culture as a people has impacted mental health in our country. It throws light on depression, anxiety and childhood trauma and debunks certain myths surrounding these conditions."
It is her hope that this book will have a great impact on many people and change their lives for the better.
