Priority Insurance Company will use digitalization to modernize their insurance services

General Manager, Marketing and Business Development at Priority Insurance Company Limited, Mr. Abubakar Salifu Godmar says Priority Insurance is making efforts to  modernize the provision of insurance services in Ghana through digitalization and urged Moovon Company through its partnership to work together to engender trust.

He said the company’s Board’s vision was to improve their services and insurance products to expand access and strengthen the balance sheet of the company.

Mr. Abubakar Salifu Godmar disclosed this during the signing meetup at Priority House, Head Quarters in Accra.

He said the country was on a recovery path from the ravages of COVID-19 as statistics showed a growth rate of 5.4 per cent, last year.

Such a performance, Mr. Salifu Godmar Abubakar indicated, would reflect, on average, all key drivers of the economy.

“Furthermore, going digital offers Priority Insurance Company Limited the opportunity to streamline internal processes and improve operational efficiency. Manual and paper-based processes are prone to errors, delays, and inefficiencies. By automating tasks and implementing digital workflows, Priority Insurance Company Limited can reduce administrative burdens, eliminate redundant processes, and improve operational speed and accuracy. This not only increases productivity but also reduces costs and frees up resources to focus on higher-value activities,” he added

Samuel Kwame Boadu, the Digital Marketing Consultant on a phone call added that, “the digital era presents insurers with a plethora of opportunities to transform their operations, enhance customer experiences, and drive business growth. By embracing digital technologies, Priority Insurance Company Limited can create a customer-centric, data-driven, and agile business model. The benefits of going digital are clear – improved customer experiences, enhanced decision-making, operational efficiency, innovation, and regulatory compliance.”

“I agree with Mr. Godmar Salifu Abubakar and I believe the time for other insurers to embark on their digital transformation journey is now. I am glad about the Moovon Company Limited’s partnership and I pray we embrace this opportunity to shape the future of Priority Insurance Company Limited and deliver exceptional value to our cherished customers.

Mr. Salifu Godmar Abubakar urged fellow insurers to transform their businesses and operating modules to re-emerge stronger than before.
