Madam Regina A. M. Coffie elected Chairperson of Schools Sanitation Program (Season 8)

Madam Regina A. M. Cofie, Headmistress of OLA SHS, Ho has been elected Chairperson of the National Schools Sanitation Inspection Tour, Season 8.
In the keenly contested virtual voting held between January 20 and February 1, 2022 to pick the Chairman, Madam Regina A M Coffie, Headmistress of OLA SHS, Ho got 49 votes.
The other contestants, Mr Ofori Antwi, Headmaster of Ko SECTEH and Mr Edwin Amoah of Beacham Presby SHS both polled 48 votes each.
Those who voted included heads of SHS, Assistant heads of SHS, Senior House Mistresses and Masters
Madam Regina Cofie thanked all the participants in the voting process and hoped for an improvement in the Schools Sanitation Inspection Tour. She thanked all the collaborators of the program, such as the Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation, Ministry of Education and Unilever who have supported the program with their products and education.
Mr. Emmanuel Olla Williams, CEO of One on One Foundation who are the organisers of the Schools Sanitation Inspection Tour disclosed that as Ghana celebrates 65 years in 2022, they are targeting 65 schools with some schools in the northern part of Ghana participating for the first time.
He promised that more excitement would be added to make the program more attractive and interesting.
He appealed to all schools heads and officials to support and contribute to make Season 8 better than the previous editions.
